Rabbi Mendel and Mushka Vilenkin, together with their children Tzivia and Mottel, have moved to Didsbury, UK, to open a Chabad Center where we have opened our door to welcome every person at any time of day or night, to help them with whatever they may need.
We are here to serve the needs of the Jewish community of Didsbury, as well as it's surrounding areas, Chorlton, Withington and parts of Fallowfield.
A little bit about us:
Mendel, who grew up in Crown Heights, developed a deep passion for helping others from a young age. He spent countless hours on Mivtzoim, reaching out to fellow Jews, and bringing them closer to Judaism. Additionally, Mendel spent his summers at Chautauqua, NY, where his parents head a Chabad house, making a tremendous impact there. His love and dedication to helping others have only grown stronger over the years, and he is thrilled to bring the energy and enthusiasm to Didsbury.
Mushka, who grew up in Cheadle UK, a car ride away from Didsbury, has always had a passion for helping others and is especially excited to return to the community, where she, together with Mendel, Tzivia, and Mordechai Leib are so exited to make a real difference and transform Didsbury with warmth and kindness.
